Humphrey, argues point by point that Kansas is the leading prohibition state in the Union, Topeka is the capital and headquarters of the State Temperance union, and that an appropriate name for the ball team would be The Prohibs. The second, from W. A. McCauley of Auburn, Kansas, says the Kaws is hard to beat as a name but suggests Kaw Chiefs.
